NIKO Group of Companies

In 1991, the first NIKO enterprise was registered. In the same year, the company established its first relationship with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, with NIKO supplying the first batch of Mitsubishi L-300 vehicles to Ukraine. In 1993, after lengthy negotiations, NIKO obtained official dealer status for Mitsubishi Motors in Ukraine and began the construction of three dealerships, actively developing corporate sales.

The year 1994 was marked by the opening of the first Mitsubishi Motors concept dealership in Kyiv and the establishment of the NIKO-PR television and radio company. NIKO continued to develop actively, increasing its sales volume to record levels each year, and in 1998 became the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors in Ukraine. Since then, the company has experienced rapid growth.

In 2003, NIKO began implementing a strategy of vertical integration and business diversification, strengthening its position in the Ukrainian automotive market. Trading House “NIKO” obtained the status of official importer and distributor of Mitsubishi Motors in Moldova and Belarus. In the same year, the company was awarded the honorary title of “Importer No. 1” based on sales performance, retaining this status for the following five years.

In 2006, a strategic decision was made regarding the further development of the NIKO Group’s automotive infrastructure and dealer network for various brands. The implementation of this strategy began with identifying geographical locations and automotive brands for future cooperation.

During this period, the Group also actively developed the following areas of business:

• Transport: establishment of N-TRANS

• Logistics: establishment of Ukrainian Terminal

• Insurance: creation of the insurance company Indigo

• Leasing: founding of NIKO Leasing

• Investment and Development: creation of NIKO Invest

• Finance: creation of NIKO Asset Management and NIKO Capital

• CSR: establishment of the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation Krona

During the same period, another strategic decision was made to establish a management company responsible for strategy development, goal setting, performance evaluation, KPI definition, and oversight of management teams across all business areas. As a result, NIKO Management was founded in 2006.

New Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Nissan, Citroën, Infiniti, Mazda, and Audi dealerships were opened in various regions of Ukraine as part of NIKO’s proprietary dealer network.

The NIKO Group of Companies opened NIKO Automotive Megapolis, a large automotive complex located on the Boryspil Highway, 4 km from Boryspil International Airport. The complex includes conceptual dealerships for Mitsubishi, Ford, Citroën, Renault, Mazda, and Suzuki, the largest paint and body repair facility in Ukraine, a trade-in area, and comprehensive infrastructure for vehicle sales and servicing.

New Fiat, KTM, and Yamaha dealerships were opened as part of the Group’s dealer network.

A new Fiat dealership was opened in Zaporizhia.

Establishment of the agro-industrial company NIKO Agro Holding.

New Mazda and Suzuki dealerships were opened in Zaporizhia.

A new Opel dealership was opened within the NIKO Automotive Megapolis.

A new MG Motor dealership was opened within the NIKO Automotive Megapolis.

A new Changan dealership was opened within the NIKO Automotive Megapolis.

Currently, the NIKO dealer network represents 13 automotive brands.
